BOMBitUP Number Protection
The BOMBitUP Android app includes a protection list for people who do not want their number used by BOMBitUP's SMS mode. Version 4.10.1 states that a protection entry remains active for two weeks.
Scope: This list applies to BOMBitUP. It cannot block messages sent by unrelated apps, websites, carriers, or individuals.
How to Protect Your Number
- Install or update to the official BOMBitUP release.
- Open BOMBitUP and go to the SMS section.
- Tap Protect List.
- Enter your first name and your own mobile number.
- Tap Protect Me and wait for the status confirmation.
- Renew the entry after two weeks if you still need protection.
Enter only a number you own or are authorized to manage. Do not submit another person's number without permission.
If Unwanted Messages Continue
- Block and report the sender in your phone's messaging app.
- Contact your mobile provider and use its spam-reporting or do-not-disturb controls.
- Keep screenshots, timestamps, and sender details if the activity is persistent or threatening.
- Report immediate threats or serious harassment to the appropriate local authority.
Report BOMBitUP Abuse
Use the contact form, choose Abuse Report, and include the affected number, approximate time, country, and any relevant screenshots or message details. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, or unrelated personal information.
Responsible Use
BOMBitUP must be used only with prior consent in a controlled test. Read the terms and responsible-use policy before using the app.
