How to Use BOMBitUP on Android

This guide covers the official APK, release verification, consent-based testing, and the in-app Protection List. BOMBitUP must not be used on a phone number or email address without the owner's clear prior permission.

1. Download and Verify the APK

Open the official download page and use the manual download button. Release 4.10.1 is 12,287,014 bytes. Before installing, compare its SHA-256 value with the checksum published on that page. A checksum confirms that the file matches the reviewed release; it is not a general safety guarantee.

2. Review Android's Install Prompt

Android may ask you to allow APK installation for the browser or file manager that opened the download. Review the source and requested permissions before proceeding. Keep the setting limited to the app you used for installation, and turn it off afterward if you do not need it.

3. Agree on a Controlled Test

Ask the recipient first. Agree on the exact number or address, a short time window, a small count, and a stop signal. Use a number or inbox created for testing when possible. Do not test on a stranger, business, emergency service, or public support channel.

4. Use SMS Mode Carefully

1. Open BOMBitUP and select the SMS section.
2. Enter only the consenting test number in the required local or international format.
3. Select the smallest useful request count.
4. Start the test, confirm the result on the receiving phone, and stop.

App counters do not prove delivery. External integrations and carrier controls may rate-limit, delay, or reject requests. See the India guide for Indian number formatting and limitations.

5. Other Modes

The call mode and email mode have separate limitations. The same consent, low-count, and stop rules apply. Do not assume any mode is anonymous or guaranteed to reach a recipient.

6. Add Your Number to the Protection List

1. Open the SMS section and choose Protect List.
2. Enter your first name and phone number.
3. Select Protect Me and confirm the entry.

The app states that protection entries are cleared every two weeks, so repeat the process when protection expires. This list applies to BOMBitUP SMS requests only; it cannot block unrelated apps, websites, or senders. Read the complete Protection List guide.

Troubleshooting

• Wrong file or version: compare the version, file size, checksum, and signing-certificate fingerprint on the download page.
• Installation blocked: review Android's per-app install-source setting and the download source.
• Request not delivered: do not repeatedly retry. Integrations and providers can be unavailable or rate-limited.
• Unwanted messages: use device and carrier controls, add the number to the Protection List, and submit an abuse report.
